Delaware law requires the Person-in-Charge (PIC) to demonstrate Food Safety knowledge in order to comply with the 2013 Food Code. The ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification meets that requirement. There are two training and exam formats: classroom and online.

ServSafe® meets ALL of the requirements mandated by the county and local health departments in the state of Delaware. ServSafe® certification is recognized nationwide, so you can have confidence knowing that even if you move out of Delaware your ServSafe® certificate will be valid in any other state. Some people mistakenly refer to ServSafe® as “Safe Serve”, but whatever you call it; you will be receiving the highest quality food safety certification program.

We offer the ServSafe® Exam in the following languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and French Canadian.
